Right On

Seth Godin chimes in about the importance of personalizing the online experience based on the needs of individual visitors. With all the data available to you regarding your visitors, there's no reason why you can't leverage it to target individual cusotmer segments and create unique experiences for users based on their needs.

That's part of what we're passionate about at eStara when we talk about engaging customers with proactive assistance. And it's definitely something our parent company, ATG, knows quite a bit about.

Not all customers have the same needs, so why treat them the same? When it comes to online sales, some customers may be fine without live help, others may merit higher-touch service. The data needed to make these decisions is out there, you just need to use it.
